Hey all! My name is Henry Fleck, your Secretary-General for LAKEMUN I and NUMUN XXIV. Originally from Skokie, IL (right next door!), I’m a senior studying Political Science and History, with a minor in Environmental Policy. I transferred to Northwestern my sophomore year, and have found it an exceptionally welcoming community; beyond MUN, I lead NU’s chapter of BridgeUSA, serve on our student government’s executive board, and founded our medieval swordfighting club! In my spare time, I also love board game design and creative writing. I am so honored to be LAKEMUN’s founding SG, and incredibly excited to see you all here in February!

Hi! I’m Emily Pasillas and I am this year’s Deputy Chief of Staff for NUMUN XXIV! I am a sophomore from Placentia, CA, and I’m majoring in Political Science and Creative Writing. Aside from NUMUN, I serve on Alianza’s (Northwestern’s Latine Association) executive board as an ASG Senator, I am the Vice President of Her Campus Northwestern, and part of the Brady Scholars and Alice Kaplan Humanities Scholars programs. I love finding new coffee shops in the Evanston and greater Chicago area, as well as going on runs along the Lakefill trail!

Hi everyone! I’m Alexa, NUMUN’s Director of Finance. I’m a Northwestern sophomore studying MMSS and Economics, and I’m from Manila, Philippines. Outside of MUN, I’m the treasurer of Kaibigan, Northwestern’s Philippine student association, and I’m part of a few other finance, law, and debate clubs. You can always find me either agonizing over an Excel sheet or brooding by the lake. I play golf, and I love poetry, dragons, and math models (allegedly). Looking forward to meeting you guys in Evanston!

Hey guys! I’m Lucy Yao and I can not wait to be your Chief of Staff for NUMUN XXIV and LAKEMUN I this year!! Hailing from the San Francisco Bay Area, I’m a junior studying Journalism, Environmental Policy & Culture, and Cognitive Science (plus a tiny Integrated Marketing Certificate). I’ve competed regularly in MUN since high school, where outside of that I’m somehow juggling my time between other clubs, artistic ventures, working at Philz coffee, and covering the miscellaneous events of Chicagoland with my trusty phone tripod. Each conference truly is a love letter built from the blood, sweat, and tears of everyone on board, and I’m so so excited for Northwestern to finally have two come to fruition! Until then though delegates, we await :D

If I’m not crashing out over F1, you can probably find me on the Lakefill with friends or playing guitar in Willard! I can’t wait to see you all in Evanston!!!
