The King is dead, and for the third time in a generation, Westeros is at the brink of war. After the demise of King Robert Baratheon, and the ascension of the dubiously legitimate Joffrey of houses Baratheon and Lannister, factions across the continent are poised to stake their claim to the Iron Throne. In King’s Landing, the Lannisters have successfully installed Joffrey and ensured control of the capital city, but all is not well. Already, ravens fly across the Seven Kingdoms declaring King Joffrey’s bastardry, and before thousands of onlookers, the honorable Lord Eddard Stark is executed for treason against the crown.Â

From the deserts of Dorne to the shores of the Iron Islands, long-concealed plots of treason begin to converge, and far across the sea, rumors spread of a dragon queen, and her army of fearsome Dothraki.Â

Beset on all sides, Joffrey’s councillors will need to use every trick at their disposal to reign in the boy tyrant and secure his throne. All the while, they will use their cunning and political strategy to ensure their own ambitions– chaos is a ladder, after all. Delegates will embody iconic characters from the show and books alike, including Tyrion and Cersei Lannister, Petyr Baelish, and Sandor Clegane. They will be tasked not only with managing affairs within the capital, but also overseeing the war effort abroad to defeat the crown’s enemies and restore order to the realm. But delegates should be warned: when you play the game of thrones, you win or you die.Â

Everything is not okay in Bricksburg, and it’s up to all of you to figure it out. As an impending Duplo invasion from the skies risks the destruction of all of the worlds, The Emmet and the rest of the Master Builders must fight to ensure that the Systar System stays safe. At the same time, President Business has hatched a new plot to control Bricksburg once and for all.
Delegates will act as representatives from each world in the movie. As they travel through each world, solving area-specific problems along the way, special committee powers will be revealed and accessible.Â
Delegates will not only be tasked with defending the Systar System, but also with ensuring the cultural preservation of each home world and protecting their citizens.Â
Due to the high-paced and expansive nature of this committee, we recommend that delegates have experience in college crisis committees before joining.

Welcome to Canberra: the Australian capital city with world-class potential, world-famous blueprints, and—as of the mid-20th century—more horses than houses, more cows than cars, and more sheep than skyscrapers.
Canberra was selected in 1908 and designated in 1911 as a compromise to settle the rivalry between Sydney and Melbourne’s competing claims for capital status. Following an international urban planning competition, Canberra’s developmental trajectory was effectively settled by 1913. And yet, its growth did not unfold accordingly. Stymied by bureaucratic disputes, the Great Depression, and the World Wars, Canberra remained the capital in name only for the better part of the 20th century.
The committee is set to begin in March 1958, when the National Capital Development Commission officially assumed authority over the planning and construction of Canberra. Simultaneously, the NCDC inherited both the immense potential and the turbulent past of the nascent capital.
As delegates of Australia’s National Capital Development Commission, you will be tasked with transforming Canberra from a humble Australian town into a hub of economic, political, and cultural activity—handling everything from infrastructural investments to skyrocketing populations to political transitions, all while navigating Australia’s emerging role on an increasingly polarized international stage.
In this committee down under, delegates will ultimately decide whether Canberra succumbs to an extensive pattern of conflict and stagnation or paves a new path for Australia’s future.

In the year 2025, with the rise of social media and censorship, fashion magazines have lost some of their appeal, but this committee will work to change that. The committee’s aim is to start a new fashion magazine that will take over the fashion industry. Delegates will be prestigious fashion reporters who will pitch their best fashion magazine concept targeted towards a new generation in a race to become the Editor-in-Chief of the new magazine.Â
Delegates will display their innovative abilities by collaborating to expand and build a magazine that can combat social, economic, and political challenges fashion magazines face. Moreover, delegates will have the opportunity to showcase their journalistic skills by reporting on other conference committees and fashion during a committee session.Â
The fashion world is fast-paced and ever-changing, so make sure to pay attention to the devil in the details. We cannot wait to see the ideas and knowledge you will all bring to build the best new fashion magazine.
